The first pillar and one of the most important goals of Eccopoli is that the law is respected and the rule of law is maintained. Through community boards, Eccopoli creates synergies to report crimes, prosecute those responsible and enforce the law.
On the other hand, also through community boards, with representatives of the Ministry of Justice, it is promoted that human rights be respected in all kinds, also in accordance with international laws and treaties.
A second pillar of the NGO is that gender equality prevails, so that in meetings with communities around Haiti, Eccopoli promotes that in all areas, both in the family, in politics and in all social fields, prevail this important equity and fight against all types of violence against women.
The third pillar of Eccopoli has to do with the environment. Eccopoli intends to build a new project every year. The choice of each project is carried out in community meetings where the population is expressed about their needs. Eccopoli takes the framework of the seventeen sustainable development goals of the United Nations, to intentionally implement a project according to each of those seventeen goals annually, in addition to the projects selected with the help of the community in question.
